The Technique Triad Theory. It has been on the chalkboard for a few weeks. What does it mean for you and your fitness goals? For starters… it emphasizes the crucial role of proper technique in achieving your lifting goals.

Here's the breakdown:

  1. Technique permits load: You can't lift heavy if you don't move correctly. Good technique protects your body and allows you to handle heavier weights.
  2. Load challenges capacity: As you lift heavier, you challenge your muscular and nervous system to adapt and grow stronger.
  3. Capacity requires technique: With increased strength, maintaining good technique becomes even more important to prevent injuries and maximize performance.

Focus on technique first, then gradually increase the load. Your body and your future self will thank you!
